I encountered opposition at the Greenock tall ships yes she is a very handsome craft ,this is the period of boat building I am most interested in I love those Sparkman n Stevens designs, those beautiful race lines, morning cloud prospect of Whitby and the like I'd give almost anything to have one of them the owner is a very lucky man by the way I recognised the boat right away didn't have to ask anyone as had just been reading heaths book on sailing shame he turned out to be such a shameful disgrace of thing

To have resource enabling one to have this project done for them would be a wonderful thing. I appreciate they have taken to this particular restore as it is worthy, and beautiful. However it is beyond my imagination the resources needed to do this.

The stove rocks fore and aft, not side to side,,, is that right? Since these boats send much of their time at a 45 degree angle,,, hmm does not seem right.
Baloney, might spend some time at 15-20 degrees but almost never 45 except maybe briefly in a broach. Most of the time they are near upright.
Yeah. Handling a spinnaker in stressful situations like a regatta is difficult and sometimes mishaps happen. How very funny... :/

these situations are not funny at all, we all know the costs of any kind of damage to a sailboat or sails....they hurt....
